GLUE SQUEEZE
A trigger-actuated glue applicator for We R Makers that turns any liquid craft glue into a precision tool. Refillable 30 ml syringes lock into an ergonomic handle, delivering controlled, consistent glue lines without the squeezing, shaking, and clogging of a standard bottle.

(CHALLENGE)
Liquid glue is the default adhesive in paper craft, and the bottle it comes in is the problem. Squeeze bottles give inconsistent flow, drip when set down, clog at the tip, and tire out the hand over long sessions. Crafters also switch between glues for different materials and end up with a drawer of half-dried bottles. The goal was a single tool that gave precise, fatigue-free control over any glue a crafter already owned.
(OUTCOME)
I designed a trigger-driven applicator that advances a drive rod into a refillable syringe, pushing glue out at a steady rate with a light squeeze. Syringes attach with a bayonet mount that locks with a 90° twist. Pulling back slightly on the drive rod relieves pressure to stop drips. Three interchangeable tips cover fine detail to full coverage, and silicone caps clip onto a storage knob during use, then seal the tip afterward so each syringe doubles as airtight glue storage. The result replaces the squeeze bottle with a system: one handle, any glue, and swappable refills for switching adhesives mid-project.
